The provisions below regulate your use of our sports betting, gaming and gambling products and services (“services”) alongside our:

1. Opening and controlling access to your Account and Verification Checks

1.1 By opening an account with William Hill (“Account”) you confirm that:

1.1.1 you are older than the minimum age at which gambling or gaming activities are legal under any laws that apply to you and you are 18 years of age or older in any event. You should note that, if you are 16 or 17 years old and gamble, this is a criminal offence;

1.1.2 you have not been excluded or self-excluded yourself from gambling;

1.1.3 you understand that by using our services you may win and lose money;

1.1.4 gambling is not illegal in the country, territory and/or jurisdiction where you access the services from and that you are responsible (to the extent required under any applicable local laws / rules of any tax authority), to report any winnings or losses arising from your use of our services;

1.1.5 the information you provide when opening your Account, and subsequently, is, and will at all times be, correct and accurate;

1.1.6 you are opening your Account solely for your personal use (and are not acting as an agent on behalf of someone else);

1.1.7 you have not asked us to close any of your previous accounts and/or we have not previously closed any accounts held by you.

1.2 You are responsible at all times for any activity on your Account. You must ensure that other people (and in particular children or other vulnerable people) are not able to access your Account. You must ensure your password is sufficiently secure and is not available to, or easily guessed by, anyone else.

1.3 We are required to make appropriate checks to verify your identity and, in certain circumstances, the source of any funds deposited in your Account (“Verification Checks”). You authorise us to undertake the Verification Checks that we believe are required and agree to provide any information and evidence in respect of any details you have provided us when we request them. This may include certified ID, proof of address, passport, bank statements etc. and we may also require you to provide a photograph of yourself holding these ID documents. Occasionally, we may require you to provide either a certified or notarised copy of your ID documents.

1.4 We may restrict or suspend your access to your Account and use of our services at any time and at our reasonable discretion, including pending completion of any Verification Checks. We may review and/or monitor the activity on your Account from time to time and may also share details about you and/or your Account with any regulatory or law enforcement agency in accordance with our legal requirements and obligations.

2. Use of Your Account – Depositing Money and Insolvency Protections

2.1 To use the services, you must deposit monies into your Account. You can then use this money to place bets or play games. Deposits will be credited to your Account after we have processed and cleared them.

2.2 The name on the account or payment card from which you deposit monies into your Account must correspond with the details and name on your Account. You can only deposit money into your Account from a personal, and not a corporate or business, card or account. You are not allowed to sell or transfer your Account to anybody else.

2.3 No one else is allowed to deposit money into your Account or to use your Account. You may not deposit money given to you by someone else to circumvent any restrictions or suspension on that person’s account. If we suspect that you have deposited money into your Account from, or on behalf of, someone else, we may require further evidence from you before any bets are accepted or withdrawals permitted. We will withhold payment of any winnings to you if we suspect such payment is for the benefit of someone else (i.e. your deposit would be returned to you).

2.4 You must not use your Account as a bank account. If you do not use your account to gamble for a period of at least thirteen (13) consecutive months, your Account may be classified as ‘Inactive’.

2.5 We are required by our GB gambling Commission license to inform you about what happens to funds which we hold on account for you, and the extent to which such funds are protected in the event of insolvency, By depositing funds into your Account in Pounds Sterling, you direct us and we agree to hold such funds (including winnings, prizes or bonus arising therefrom) on trust for you in a “Designated Client Account” (“Purpose”). These funds are kept separate from William Hill’s company funds and bank accounts. Our Bank has acknowledged in writing that funds held by us in the Designated Client Account are held on trust by us for the Purpose. We will not combine the Designated Client Account with any other account and will not exercise any right of set-off or counterclaim against funds in the Designated Client Account in the event of insolvency. This means that steps have been taken to protect your funds but there is not absolute guarantee that all funds will be repaid. This arrangement meets the GB Gambling Commission’s requirements for the protection of customer funds at the level: Medium.

2.6 Funds deposited via a third party payment provider (“Payment Provider”) may take a few days before they reach the Designated Client Account. During this period your funds will be held in the account of the relevant Payment Provider and will not be protected by the Designated Client Account. Whilst these steps have been taken to protect customer funds but there is no absolute guarantee that all funds will be repaid.

2.8 You agree not to make any charge-backs, reversals or otherwise cancel any deposits into your Account; but if you do, we have the right to block your account, void winnings and cancel any pending withdrawals.

2.9 You can use any permitted payment method to deposit money in any permitted currency into your Account. All deposits will be credited to your Account (in an agreed currency) after we have processed and cleared that payment. We do not charge fees for any deposit method (although some banks may impose fees and you should check with your provider if you’re unsure). We may impose a minimum threshold on withdrawals.

2.10 You can only have a single Account at any time.

2.11 We may, without notice to you, close any accounts if we have reason to believe that you have opened or are associated with more than one Account (“Duplicate Account”).

2.12 Whether or not we close any Duplicate Account, we reserve the right to void all Transactions on such Duplicate Account and to retain any amounts paid by us to that Duplicate Account.

2.13 If we close a Duplicate Account:

2.13.1 all bonuses, free bets and winnings accrued from any such bonuses and free bets obtained using that Duplicate Account will be void and removed; and/or

2.13.2 to the extent that we are not able to fully recover amounts we have paid out to your Duplicate Accounts, we may recover any such amounts directly from your Account and/or from any Duplicate Account held by you or on your behalf.

3. Placing your bet and the provision of services

3.1 It is important that you ensure that the details of any bet, wager, stake or similar transaction that you place (a “Transaction”) are correct.

3.2 No Transaction is accepted by us until we have confirmed this to you. We reserve the right to refuse the whole or part of any Transaction or to place limits on it. Once we have accepted a Transaction, you cannot cancel the Transaction unless we agree otherwise. If you are in any doubt as to whether (or not) a Transaction has been accepted, you should contact Customer Services. 3.3 We will provide the services with reasonable skill and care and substantially as described in the Terms. We do not make any other promises or warranties regarding the services and exclude (to the extent permitted by law) all implied warranties in respect of the same (including implied warranties as to satisfactory quality and/or fitness for your purpose).

3.4 We do not warrant that the Website or our services will have uninterrupted availability or that they will be free of bugs, viruses or other errors. If you decide to access any third party sites linked to our Website, you do so entirely at your own risk and should be aware that such sites may not display full information about their services. We reserve the right to terminate any link or linking program at any time. You accept that, in relation to time-critical gambling events there is a risk that you may be at a disadvantage because of technical issues such as slower network speeds, or slower end user device performance.

3.5 Any failure or delay by us in the performance of our obligations under these Terms shall not be deemed a breach if that failure or delay is caused by the following events: fire, flood, earthquake, disease, pandemic, elements of nature or acts of God, public utility electrical failure, acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil disorders, rebellions or revolutions, strikes, lockouts, or labour difficulties, court order, outage, delays or disruptions of the Internet or telecommunications networks, third party non-performance or any other similar cause beyond our reasonable control. We do not accept any liability for the consequences arising out of these sorts of events.

4. Errors; Technical Malfunctions

4.1 A number of circumstances may arise where a Transaction is accepted, or a payment is made by us, in error (including, but not limited to obvious errors in the odds we have published, technical errors which result in us continuing to accept bets on a closed or suspended market, or errors or malfunctions in any of our games or software) (“Errors”). We reserve the right at our discretion to correct any Error (this may include removing any payment made to your Account as the result of an Error).

4.2 If you have wagered on a game, but have not started the game before the game is disconnected as a result of any technical malfunction, the game will not take place (and any sums you have wagered will be returned to you). If you have wagered, and the game has started, when any technical malfunction on our servers or systems causes the game to be disconnected, that game will be recorded on our game servers. The wager will stand and the outcome will be reflected in your Account status. If you win, the amount will be credited to your Account. You understand that in the event of disconnection, the records stored on our game servers shall be the final authority in determining the terms of any wagers placed and the circumstances in which such wagers were made. We reserve the right, at any time and without prior warning, to cease to offer an announced game and to withdraw a scheduled gaming activity. In such event all commenced but not completed games will be annulled and any wagers deposited will be repaid to you.

4.3 Any monies which you receive in connection with an Error are held by you on trust for us and you must immediately repay them to us when we ask you to do so. Neither we (including our employees or agents) nor our partners or suppliers shall be liable for any loss, including loss of winnings, that results from an Error.

4.4 You must contact Customer Services and tell us as soon as reasonably practicable if you become aware of any Error relating to our services or any Transaction.

5. Withdrawal of Funds

5.1 You may request withdrawal of funds from your Account at any time provided that:

5.1.1 all payments made into your Account have been confirmed as cleared and none have been charged-back, reversed or otherwise cancelled;

5.1.2 any Verification Checks have been completed by us to our satisfaction; and

5.1.3 you have complied with any other relevant withdrawal conditions affecting your Account details of which can be found at the Deposits and Withdrawals section of the Website.

6. Improper use of your Account

6.1 You agree not to do any of the following (each a “Prohibited Practice”):

6.1.1 use false or misleading information to open your Account;

6.1.2 abuse bonuses or other promotions we offer;

6.1.3 use unfair external factors or influences (i.e. cheating) or take unfair advantage of our services, or otherwise use our services in bad faith (including, but not limited to, the exploitation of any loophole in any software used in connection with the services; using e.g. bots to enable play without human intervention etc.);

6.1.4 collude with others to gain an unfair advantage (e.g. by intentionally losing money to other players);

6.1.5 use a VPN or proxy to hide or alter the location or the identity of the device used to access the Website and/or our services;

6.1.6 break the rules of any sport’s governing body;

6.1.7 open or procure the opening of any Duplicate Accounts;

6.1.8 undertake fraudulent practices or any criminal activity.

6.2 You agree that if you participate in or are connected with any form of Prohibited Practice that will constitute a material breach of the Terms by you. If you suspect that another customer is participating in or connected with any form of Prohibited Practice you should contact Customer Services.

6.3 If we have reason to believe that you have participated in or are connected with any form of Prohibited Practice, we have the right to withhold your deposit and/or account balance and to recover any other sum from you which may be attributable to your participation in or connection to a Prohibited Practice. In exercising our rights under this clause, you accept that we may require you to provide information and/or documents to us as part of our investigation.

7. Closure or Suspension of your Account

7.1 You are entitled to close your Account at any time, by contacting us through Customer Services (Contact Us). You agree to pay any amounts you owe to us immediately on the closure of your Account.

7.2 We are entitled, at any time, to close or suspend your Account on written notice to you, including if:

7.2.1 you breach any of the Terms;

7.2.2 we suspect you of committing any Prohibited Practices;

7.2.3 in our reasonable opinion, your continued use of our services may damage our regulated status; and/or

7.2.4 if you have placed bets and/or played online games with any other online provider of gambling services and are suspected (as a result of such play) of behaviour equivalent to any Prohibited Practices in relation to those other gambling services.

7.3 When repaying any outstanding balance on your Account, we shall use the same payment method you provided when making the last deposit to your Account; or such other payment method as we may reasonably select. In addition to any other remedy available to us, if we have reason to believe that you are in breach of the Terms we shall be entitled to recover from your Account any positive balance up to the amount we reasonably claim against you.

8. Complaints Procedure; Claims; Notices; and Miscellaneous

8.1 Any claim or dispute with regard to: (i) a Transaction; and/or (ii) a game you have played using the services, must be made within six (6) months from the date of that Transaction or gameplay. We reserve the right not to accept claims or disputes made after that six (6) month period.

8.2 In the event that you seek to go to court over a claim or dispute the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over those claims or disputes. You and we agree that the Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

8.3 With the exception of any company within our group of companies, a person who is not party to these Terms has no right to enforce any of the terms.

9. Indemnities and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Our maximum liability arising out of your use of our services, in any and all circumstances will be limited to:

9.1.1 where our liability relates to a Transaction, the amount of the Transaction placed by you in respect of which our liability has arisen;

9.1.2 where our liability relates to the misapplication of funds, the amount of money in your Account that has been misapplied by us; and

9.1.3 in respect of any other liability of William Hill, twenty five thousand pounds sterling (£25,000).

9.2 William Hill accepts no responsibility for the acts or omission of any other legal entity within our group of companies.

9.3 If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms.

9.4 Where we provide services supplied by our third party game providers (“Providers”), you acknowledge and agree that: (i) the Providers are the sole and exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights in/to their software, and (ii) your agreement in respect of the services, is with William Hill which is the entity responsible to you.   2. 2) You can redeem your Bonus Money Bonus as real cash into your Real Balance (in instalments or “chunks“), by accumulating WHPoints by taking part in any cash table games or tournaments on the Poker Software (“Bonus Money Games“).
  3. 3) Each time you:a. contribute money to the pot in in any Bonus Money Game which is a cash table game, you will accumulate 10 WHPoints for every €1 raked hand from funds you have contributed to the pot on that cash table (the rake taken is based on iPoker’s Rake Ranges); orb. buy in to any Bonus Money Game which is a tournament, you will accumulate 10 WHPoints for every €1 in tournament fees you have paid.

If your Bonus Money Bonus has not been redeemed in full within the Bonus Money Bonus Period, then the amount of the Bonus Money Bonus that has not been redeemed will automatically be deleted from your Poker Account.
  8. 8) You can view the amount of your Bonus Money Bonus that you have redeemed (and the amount still outstanding) and the number of WHPoints you have accumulated and the number of points needed to release your next chunk:a. on the Downloaded Software, by clicking on the “My Info” tab at the top of the screen and then on the “Bonus” tab; orb. on Instant Play or on the Mobile App by clicking on the “More” tab on the left hand side of the screen and then on the “Bonus” tab.

Section D – 10 Bonus Spins Bonus Terms

How can you use your Bonus Spins?

  1. 1) Once you have opted in to this Promotion and made your Deposit, your Bonus Spins will automatically be credited to your Poker Account.
  2. 2) You can only use your Bonus Spins on “Casino” games on the Poker Software that have a free spins icon at the bottom of the game window (“Bonus Spins Games“).
  3. 3) In order to use your Bonus Spins, you must open any of the Bonus Spins Games. An icon will then appear in the game footer which you will need to click to reveal a menu and a “Spin” button which will enable you to use your Bonus Spins.
  4. 4) Once you have used all of your Bonus Spins on the Bonus Spins Games, any “winnings” you have accumulated will automatically be credited as a bonus to your Casino Bonus Balance (“Bonus Spins Bonus“).

If your Bonus Spins have not been used, or if the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement (as defined below) has not been met, within the Bonus Spins Bonus Period, then any Bonus Spins and any Bonus Spins Bonus Funds will automatically be deleted from your Casino Bonus Balance at the end of the Bonus Spins Bonus Period.
  9. 9) You cannot transfer any Bonus Spins Bonus Funds from your Casino Bonus Balance to your Real Balance until the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement (as defined below) has been met. If you attempt to transfer any Bonus Spins Bonus Funds from your Casino Bonus Balance to your Real Balance before the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement has been met, then your Bonus Spins Bonus Funds will automatically be deleted from your Casino Bonus Balance and this Bonus will end.
  10. 10) The maximum Bonus Spins Bonus Funds that you can transfer from your Casino Bonus Balance to your Real Balance (subject to meeting the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement (as defined below)) is limited to £20. Any Bonus Spins Bonus Funds in excess of £20 will be deleted from your Casino Bonus Balance once the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement has been met.
  11. 11) You may only receive a maximum of 10 Bonus Spins in relation to this Promotion.
  12. 12) If you have received more than one free or bonus spins bonus (due to your participation in this Promotion and other promotions we offer to customers on the Website), then, if the free or bonus spins you receive from each bonus can be used on the same games they will be combined (i.e. a bonus with 5 spins and another bonus with 10 spins will be available as 15 spins when choosing to play bonus spins), but will be shown separately on your Poker Account. Winnings from any combined spins bonuses that you receive will be allocated to the applicable spins bonus (and a separate wagering requirement will apply to each spins bonus).

What Wagering Requirement applies to your Bonus Spins Bonus?

  1. 13) Your Bonus Spins Bonus is subject to a wagering requirement of 40 x the value of your Bonus Spins Bonus (“Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement”). This means that you cannot transfer any BonusSpins Bonus Funds from your Casino Bonus Balance into your Real Balance until you have wagered at least 40 x the value of your Bonus Spins Bonus on the Selected Games.
  2. 14) If you have received a Bonus Spins Bonus then, when you place a wager on any of the Selected Games, the amount you stake will be deducted against the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement. For example, if you received a Bonus Spins Bonus of £20, your Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement would be 40 x the value of your Bonus Spins Bonus = 40 x £20 = £800.If you then staked a wager of £30 in any of the Selected Games, this would be deducted from the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement and you would need to wager a further £770 (i.e. £800 – £30 = £770) before you could transfer any Bonus Spins Bonus Funds from your Casino Bonus Balance into your Real Balance.
  3. 15) This Bonus will automatically end if the amount you have wagered meets or exceeds the Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement. At this point, any Bonus Spins Bonus Funds in your Casino Bonus Balance (subject to any maximum amount of Bonus Spins Bonus Funds that may transfer to your Real Balance specified in these Promotion Terms (if any)) will automatically transfer to your Real Balance from where you will be able to withdraw them as cash or to continue to use them in non-Promotion play.

How do funds in your Poker Account contribute to wagers you place?

  1. 16) When you place a wager in any of the Selected Games, the stake will be taken from your Poker Account in the following order of priority:a. initially, from your Real Balance; andb. then, if the stake exceeds the value of your Real Balance, the remaining stake will be taken from your Casino Bonus Balance.
  2. 17) If the amount of your Bonus Spins Bonus Funds falls below £0.99 at any time, any remaining Bonus Spins Bonus Funds in your Bonus Balance will be deleted and this Bonus will automatically end.

How are winnings allocated to your Poker Account?

  1. 18) When you place a successful wager in any of the Selected Games, then your winnings will be split between your Real Balance and your Casino Bonus Balance in proportion to the percentage of the stake contributed by each, respectively.
  2. 19) The examples below set out how wagers are deducted from, and winnings are applied to, your Poker Account when you participate in the Promotion.

Example 1

You opt-in to the Promotion and you receive your 10 Bonus Spins. After playing through your 10 Bonus Spins, you have “winnings” of £5, which are credited as a £5 Bonus Spins Bonus to your Casino Bonus Balance. Your Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement is 40x the value of your Bonus Spins Bonus = 40 x £5 = £200. You also have £10 in your Real Balance. Your Poker Account looks like this:

The Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement is now £195 (i.e. £200 – £5 = £195).

Your wager is successful, with winnings of £10 (including your £5 returned). This is allocated to your Poker Account as follows: the Real Balance gets £10 (it contributed 100% of the stake, so it gets 100% of the returns); and the Casino Bonus Balance gets £0 (it contributed 0% of the stake, so it gets 0% of the returns).Your Poker Account now looks like this:

The Bonus Spins Wagering Requirement is now £175 (£200 – £5 – £20 = £175).

This wager is also successful, with winnings of £30 (including your £20 returned). This is allocated to your Poker Account as follows: the Real Balance gets £22.50 (it contributed 75% of the stake, so it gets 75% of the returns); and the Casino Bonus Balance gets £7.50 (it contributed 25% of the stake, so it gets 25% of the returns). Section E – Terms applicable to all Bonuses

Promotional Play Restrictions

    1. 1) We offer bonuses and promotions to enhance your enjoyment of our games and wagering. We have set out below certain types of play which we consider to be unfair and therefore to be in breach of these Promotion Terms:

c. sharing personalised promotional offers or bonuses which are available to specific customers only (i.e. that you have received by e.g. email, inbox message, text message, links, URLs etc.) with others who were not the intended recipient. This includes accessing promotions or bonuses forwarded to you by others when you were not the intended recipient;

d. concealing your country of residence in order to access a promotion or bonus that is not available in your country of residence;

f. using more than one account per household or per IP address,

  1. 2) Where you are in breach of any Promotional Play Restrictions, we may be entitled to cancel any bonuses or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus element of such offers and either settle bets at the correct odds, void any free bets, void any bet funded by a bonus, or remove any subsequent winnings relating to a bonus. We may also be entitled to levy an administration charge up to the value of the bonus, free bet or additional payment to cover our reasonable administrative costs in respect of any such action that we take.

General Promotion Terms

Definitions

GENERAL BETTING RULES

3. NON RUNNERS / NON-PARTICIPANTS AND VOID SELECTIONS:

Unless a bet has been placed under antepost terms, when a selection is made void or does not run, then in single bets the stake will be returned. In accumulative bets the stake will run on to the remaining selection(s) with a double becoming a single, a treble becoming a double and so on. Unless a specific reference is made in the individual section that covers the sport, abandoned or postponed events are void. However, bets in markets that have already been resolved at the time of abandonment, such as ‘first touchdown scorer’ etc. will stand.

4. DEAD HEATS:

In a DEAD HEAT the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners or competitors involved in the dead heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake, with the remainder of the stake money being lost.

5. CONDITIONAL BETS (Any-To-Come, Stop-At-A-Winner etc.):

Such bets are available in our LBOs and with our Telephone Betting Service, but are not available on-line.

6. ANTE-POST BETTING (FUTURE EVENTS):

a. Ante-post prices are those offered on:

i. Horse Racing prior to the final declaration stage.

ii. Greyhound events up to and including the semi final stage. (Any bets placed after the semi finals or on a single race event where a price has been taken will be settled as early bird bets and stakes refunded on non runners. In the event of a non runner all bets will be settled at starting price).

iii. Sports events prior to the start of an event, with the exception of bets on a golf tournament, a tennis tournament, a match, a single race event (e.g. London Marathon) or an individual heat/stage. When stakes are refunded on a competitor who withdraws from an event a rule 4 deduction may apply to winning bets.

iv. All special (non-sporting) events.

b. Ante-post bets are accepted on the understanding that you will lose your stake if your selection does not participate. No Tattersalls’ Rule 4 deductions are made from winning bets except when a runner in a horse race is balloted out.

c. i. Bets placed after the start of a sports event are not classified by us as antepost. Unless a specific reference is made in the rules for a particular sport, the start of an event is defined as the first time there is any competitive action. Stakes will be refunded on competitors/teams who take no further part after the bet is placed, unless they have been eliminated by competition rules. A Tattersalls’ Rule 4 deduction will be applied to winning bets placed after the competitor’s/team’s last competitive action and prior to the market being re-formed.

ii. Stakes are lost on competitors/teams who start an event and then withdraw.

iii. In total tournament/series markets e.g. top series wicket taker, winner of the golden boot etc. individuals named in the team squad will be deemed to have participated whether or not they have taken part in any competitive action.

d. The maximum winnings limits for ante-post bets are determined by the categories listed in Rule 2.

e. Ante-post each way doubles, trebles etc. are settled win to win, place to place.

f. Ante-post bets are settled at the price and place terms applicable at the time of acceptance.

g. Place only bets and forecast bets are not accepted at antepost odds. If taken in error, place only bets will be void. Forecast bets will be settled on the computer straight forecast.

h. Where the same selection is backed to win two or more antepost events in an accumulative bet a special combined price will apply irrespective of any individual prices quoted. Where no special combined price is available e.g. a horse to win a Derby trial and the Derby, settlement will be based on the first available odds after each leg has been completed.

i. Bonuses and consolations associated with any bet type are not available at ante-post odds. If taken in error bets will be settled without the bonuses or consolations.

j. The terms of special event/sports bets laid following a written/email request from an individual customer will be clarified in our written/emailed response to the customer prior to the bet being placed.

k. An ante-post bet will be made void under the following circumstances:

The race is cancelled and is not run. A horse is balloted out under the rules of racing. The race is run at an alternative venue to the one originally scheduled. Entries for the race are re-opened. l. An ante-post bet will stand under the following circumstances:

The race is run on a different date from the one originally specified, but at the original venue. The entries for the race are not re-opened. If entries revert back to a previous declaration stage, this won’t count as entries being re-opened and all bets will stand.

7. VIRTUAL WORLD

Description

Virtual World events are computer generated presentations of an accredited random number generator in which the first number generated decides the winner; the second decides the runner-up etc.

Bets on virtual racing are settled to the same rules as horse racing, greyhound racing and bets on virtual sports are settled to the same rules as other relevant events. Virtual selections do not qualify for bonuses and consolations. The RTP (return to player) is between 70% and 95.23% depending upon the sport and type of market. The RTP reflects the theoretical return across a very large number of plays by numerous players over an extended period of time. The results for any given player over a play session can vary widely from this long-term, expected average in either direction. The fewer the number of games played, the wider the normal variance of actual payback that may be experienced. The fairness of our Random Number Generator and our Virtual sports has been independently tested and certified by NMi Metrology & Gaming. NMi’s evaluation of William Hill’s hardware-based RNG (random number generator) was performed with the aim of verifying compliance with the following sets of standards: The Gambling Commission’s Remote Gambling and Software Technical Standards, June 2007 Generally-accepted industry standards for highly-regulated jurisdictions William Hill’s technical specifications for their hardware-based RNG.

8. RELATED CONTINGENCIES:

Accumulative/multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another. If taken in error the stake will be invested on the selection with the largest price. Where two or more selections are quoted at the largest price the stake will be divided equally between them. However, where the related parts of the bet are resolved at different times, unless ‘special double’ or ‘special accumulative’ odds are available, bets will be settled as instructed with the odds for the second or subsequent legs being determined at each individual stage.

9. SPORTS GOVERNING BODIES:

It is a condition of our acceptance of bets from you that, and by offering to place a bet with us, you represent that:

a. You are not prohibited from entering into the bet by any term of your contract of employment or other professional contract or any rule of a Sports Governing Body, which applies to you.

b. You are not aware of any circumstance which would make the placing of the bet a breach of a rule on betting applied by a Sports Governing Body.

c. Where the bet is placed on the outcome of a race, competition or other event or process or on the likelihood of anything occurring you do not know the outcome of the event or have not been involved in events which adversely affected the potential outcome.

d. In the event of any such representation by you proving to be false your stake will be forfeited and we shall not be obliged to pay any winnings which might otherwise have been payable in respect of the bet.

e. We have a memorandum of understanding with Sports Governing Bodies where we will share information with them, the Gibraltar Gambling Commission and the GB Gambling Commission, where there is suspicious betting, or where we identify bets that have not been placed in accordance with our rules for Sports Governing Bodies.

10. DATA SUPPLIED BY A THIRD PARTY:

Please be aware that data such as current scores, time elapsed etc. that is displayed on our site or on our text screens is sourced from a ‘live feed’ provided by a third party and may be subject to time delay and/or be inaccurate. If you rely on this data to place bets, you do so entirely at your own risk and William Hill accept no responsibility for any loss (direct or indirect) suffered by you as a result of your reliance on it.

11. RIGGING:

We reserve the right to withhold payment or void any bet(s) if we have any reasonable suspicion and/or evidence that the prices or the pool have been manipulated or where a race, event or match has been rigged and this reasonable suspicion and/or evidence has caused us to report the match to ESSA (Sports Betting Integrity) or any of our applicable regulatory authorities (UK Gambling Commission, Gibraltar Gambling Commission and the DGOJ). Evidence of the above may be based on the size, volume or pattern of bets placed with William Hill across any or all of our betting channels.

12. TIME OF ACCEPTANCE:

We produce an automated ‘no more bets time’ for all horse, greyhound and numbers events covered in our full service. Bets are valid if accepted up to this time. Except where prior authorisation is given, single bets accepted after the ‘no more bets time’ will be void. In multiple bets late selections will be treated as non runners. Where the official ‘off’ of a race or event is not announced bets are accepted up to the advertised start time. If betting in-play is available bets will stand and be settled at the current in-play price at the time the bet was struck. Where betting in-play is not available any bet that is inadvertently accepted after this time will be void, unless we are satisfied that the bet was placed before the actual start of the event, except in the following circumstances: on a golf event up to 15 minutes after the start time; a football match up to 15 minutes after the start time, provided there has been no goals scored or players sent off and any of the following sports events up to 5 minutes after the start time: American Football; Baseball; Basketball; Bowls; Cricket; Cycling; Darts; Gaelic Football/Hurling; Ice Hockey; Rugby; Snooker/Pool; Speedway; Tennis.

13. CASH IN MY BET:

Cash In My Bet (“cash-in”) gives you the opportunity to settle your bet at the value displayed before the market is resulted, both on-line and on mobile
